Leading Isle of Man MSP ServiceTech join the Manx ICT Association

ServiceTech (now MTG ServiceTech) are pleased to announce we are now members of MICTA (the Manx ICT Association). MICTA represent the ICT sector in the Isle of Man and are integral to defining the digital and ICT strategy of the Isle of Man. You can learn more about MICTA here

MICTA have contributed to a strategy that forms part of the Isle of Man’s Vision2020. The Vision sets down ambitious plans for the Isle of Man, and in particular the ICT sector – in terms of growth, employment and developing education.

Iain Wrigley, Director of ServiceTech commented:

ServiceTech have been active in the Isle of Man ICT industry since 1997. In the past 18 months, our business has grown and we have seen a significant demand for our services, specifically in relation to Cloud, Networks and Security.

With this growth, we are now facing many of the challenges that are familiar to those involved in the ICT sector, or  any industry that relies heavily on technology. These challenges include the recruitment of skilled staff, their ongoing training and development, and an environment that enables our business to flourish.

We are keen to be involved in a strategy that recognises the Isle of Man’s strengths, works in harmony with the Government and drives success into the economy and ultimately, generates jobs.

MICTA are involved in several other projects and initiatives including CodeClub, workshops and fundraisers.
